Description

From USA Today Bestselling author Khardine Gray comes a sizzling hot single dad romance you won't want to miss.

No strings attached fun with the uber-gorgeous single dad next door?

Yes, please.

Look at him.

Who would say no to Ryan Donovan with his perfect body, perfect everything, and those piercing green eyes?

Not me.

So, when he came to me with the idea, I said a big, fat yes.

Our attraction was the kind of insane you see in the movies.

I was only going to be in town for eight months for my work assignment, which meant no strings attached fun would be easy, and we would say goodbye at the end.

I would go back to L.A., and he would stay here.

No problem, no drama, no stress.

It felt easy as I played the game and went through the motions.

It felt easy because I had a line I always drew under relationships.

A line I never crossed.

But... then he unlocked something inside me.

Something I hid away from the world.

No strings attached fun... what could possibly go wrong?

I thought nothing.

Then everything became a complicated, sexy mess that turned my heart inside out.

This was a sweet good book. Made me laugh and cry. Two broken people that help each other heal. The other characters in this book grabs at your heart and how vital they are in Ryan’s and Brooke’s life. Aaron, Ryan’s childhood friend and work partner, was mentioned some through out the book gave you an impression that he is a free living friend but when Ryan mentioned toward the end of the book how he has been there for all the life changes Ryan faced throughout his life showed a true, loving, rare best friend. All respect to Aaron…man did I cry. This is the first I read a book from this author and I will be reading more. I highly enjoyed the very very little cussing in the book. So many authors feel it’s needed when it honestly doesn’t. All the cursing are just fillers to make the story longer. Highly considering starting 101 notes.

Romantic, sexy, but not overly sexual. A bit predictable. I would recommend this to someone looking for MILD erotica with a heavy dose of romance.

Life…. This story captures it. It’s not just sunshine and sex. Its loss, heartbreak, death, healing, friendship, relationship, acceptance, blending family, career, and yes love, sunshine, and sex…it has it all and is a wonderful read. I think I may have to re-read it 😍

The story itself was great. My only issue was towards the end the spelling and grammar were not properly edited. It didn’t take away from the book but little slips like that make what could’ve been a beautiful book into an okay and enjoyable book.

Has all you need….funny, sweet, hotness without cliche, tension without ridiculous angsty stupidity, characters who cope with their “issues” (thank you sooo much!). Worst I can say, it felt “pared down” a bit. Ancillary characters could have been fleshed out and been a bigger part of the story. That said, still a worthy read for the genre
