Description

Join the Tribe in Mystery, Alaska again as survivors of the wolf pack start appearing and chaos ensues. Blood will be shed. Betrayals will break hearts. Find out who will be left standing after all the fur starts flying.

A prince without a pack.

A woman who will fight tooth and claw for those she loves.

The day Katherine Manitok finds out werewolves are real is the day she finds out she's in love with one. When she comes home from a long day of work at the Mystery, Alaska community center, she finds a bloody and battered wolf stretched across her front porch. Except when she gets up the nerve to touch the wolf, his fur turns to skin beneath her fingertips.

Then those glowing golden eyes look up at her and she knows she's a goner.

Knox Li'Vas is alpha to a pack that no longer exists. He barely survived getting down off the mountain. And now he's risking everything to see Katherine again, but she's his shuarra--his soulmate. She glows for him and he can't leave town. His wolf won't let him. Not without her.

But how's a mostly-dead werewolf barbarian supposed to convince a woman who single-handedly runs the town's social calendar to up and run away with him so the neighborhood dragon doesn't finish him off? Oh, and she doesn't even know he's not human.

Oh, and did we mention that something is trying to kill her?

All that and more in Wolf At The Door! The exciting forth book in the Soulmate Shifters in Mystery, Alaska series. Where you will find protective alpha heroes with fangs and fur and strong sassy heroines who are perfectly capable of saving the day without any help at all.

This is my second read of the series and another compelling story in this series of the shifters in Mystery, Alaska. Knox had found his soul mate in Katherine Manitok and she is attracted him as well but just knows him as the handsome stranger that she sees at the community center that she runs. She doesn’t know that he is an alien shifter from another planet and that he is now the alpha of a pack of wolves that kidnapped her best friend. Katherine comes home one day to find a giant wolf on her front porch. She is even more surprised when the wolf transforms into Knox, the man who she’s been attracted to since he showed up at the community center. He explains what has happened to his pack and also explains that he’s not really “human”. The couple has quite a lot of issues to contend with and they do get their HEA. There are glimpses of the previous couples from the series that help move the story along and while this story can stand alone, reading the previous books (not a hardship) can help explain more of the shifter culture. I can’t wait to read the next book on the series and find out what happens to the next couple and, of course, for the arrival of the babies!

In the war between the Tribe and the wolves, there are many casualties. Knox, now becomes Alpha of the few wolf survivors. He also has a human mate to court and claim. And everybody- Tribe and human alike - is out to get him. All is somewhat settled in a HFN end to this bittersweet and steamy story with promises of more to come. I'm hooked on this series, and happy to leave this voluntary ARC review.
  • Another exciting book in the series

Book 5 continues with the shifters not only finding their soulmates, but also coming to terms with their enemies in a strange, new world. This book also contains multiple POV from characters in previous books. While there is enough background information to read this as a stand alone (meaning there is a “complete” story for Katherine and Knox) why would you?! This is fantastic series and reading the first four books in order would also add much to the enjoyment. I really liked the strength of the women in this series - Katherine has had a very traumatic past. She’s learned to deal with it and live. She encounters Knox/wolf at her door and of course her life takes in a different direction. You can’t help but cheer both Katherine and Knox on as she figures out not only how to accept him and he learns how to live in this new world. Highly recommend this book (and the whole series)

I really enjoyed Knox and Katherine’s story! The set up was good, and gave good detail about their lives before. I also loved that their friends were included in the story, and it left me hoping several other characters get their own HEA!

This was a great read that had Katherine and Knox going through a roller coaster ride to get the hurdles thrown their way. The storyline is well written from start to finish. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book five of the Soulmate Shifters in Mystery, Alaska. Knox is a wolf shifter from another planet. His brother, Raish, was the Alpha, but he was also crazy and now dead. There are only about four wolves left in Knox’s pack with the others being killed by the war Raish started. Knox knows Katherine, a human, is his soulmate, but must convince her of this and let her know about shifters. Good read! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Knox’s brother caused a lot of problems and got most of the wolves killed. He was hurt so bad that he went to Katherine his mate. His exiled cousin came through the portal too and tried to kill Katherine so Knox had to bite her to save her life. He had to stay in town or get killed then he could stay with Katherine. Now I need the next book!
